Oh. Holy. Heavens. This is it. THIS is my dream laundry room. Right now you're thinking, "wow, pretty low expectations, eh?" Yes. This is extreme, but talk about something to drool over. Moving onto reality. I am thankful for the laundry room I have. I've had worse. I've had no laundry room at all, blah, blah, blah. It's not that I hate my laundry room, but I hate that this is how it looks:
Oh hold on, folks! It gets better! I have decided to decorate the floors, a well!
Where are my apothecary jars to hold sundries? On what table should I put the potted topiary? Ho-hum...I guess I'll just have to put all my fresh linens in theses cubbies. So there you go. My hell...err...laundry room. What might be even worse is that 90% of that is actually clean, but I'm too spent to take it all upstairs! I guess when we win the lottery or I make millions of dollars with this blog, I will at least have some inspiration for my next laundry room. Until then, a girl can dream, right?

ha ha! Love this post! I have had some laundry room nightmares. You DID see the post I did where I could sit on the toilet and fold laundry, right? In this house the laundry "room" is in the garage. Where my husband cuts wood. And spreads sawdust all over the laundry. That laundry "room" was almost the deal breaker for this house. I would love a beautiful laundry room- and MUD room!- in my forever and ever house. :o)
You do have a great laundry room! It is spacious. I like how you have organized the space for the basketss!
I know what you mean about drooling over laundry rooms, but trust me, I would LOVE to have yours. Ours is basically just a walk through between the garage and kitchen with the washer to the right and the dryer to the left. Whoever thought of that floor plan? Obviously not someone who has actually had to do a load of laundry and have no flat surface for folding clothes. Sigh. My next house will have a better laundry room
I saw the first two pictures before I read your post and I thought "You have GOT to be kidding me!" I thought you were going to say that those were pictures of your laundry room.
I was going to have to tell you that I just couldn't be your sixth reader anymore. ;)
Your actual laundry room isn't bad either. It's fairly similar to mine but your is WAY more oranized. I might have to swipe your idea of the laundry baskets on shelves under the counter. I've got one of those laundry sorters on wheels that fits under my counter but it doesn't hold nearly enough. Half the time the floor is covered with dirty clothes.

I about had a heart attack at first thinking that WAS your laundry room. That one just takes the cake. I'm even jealous of the one you have now - I don't know what I was thinking when we bought this house but all we have is a laundry closet (in the main hallway mind you) and no mud room. Some man designed this I know it. No woman in her right mind would.
I love love love to look at laundry rooms too. *sigh* I'm so glad I'm not the only one.
