I went with black and pink for decorations (I love those two colors together), and these little take-out boxes were the girls gift bags. I had to search all over, but I did end up finding all ballerina themed trinkets inside.
I KNOW I must have been busy when I look at this picture, because I can't believe I didn't take one that would turn out better. You probably can't tell, but I streamed pink toile (spelling?) from the ceiling and dangled crafting letters in her name from black ribbon. All the letters had little ballerinas all over them.
I sent out ballerina shoe invitations, I filled pink buckets up with mints and yogurt covered raisins, we had pink lemonade...and then me chowed on pizza! What a day!
She's a pretty darn cute ballerina, if I do say so myself. ;-)

I love the pink and black. So pretty.
This is beautiful! I really might have to steal this idea for Kary's next birthday party. I love the balleria idea and how she was wearing a tu-tu! How perfect!
CUTE party. I love the "goodie bags" idea. A lot. :o)
So cute! How perfect too that she has on her ballerina tutu, etc!
Hmmm...great idea for Lauren's 1st birthday!
I just realized...that...is...your...backyard....holy cow!
I love the pink and black together. I've always liked pink and brown together, but never really considered black. So adorable for a ballerina party!
I LOVE that you take the theme through the house (kitchen / family room)..glad to know I am not the only one out there! I just found your blog and am loving it! Off to read more!
