Well, it's over! It took him 27 seconds to knock the other guy out. Some of you actually like MMA fighting, and some of you didn't even know what it is. Soooo....here is the video of his fight. I tried everything I know to get the You Tube video right on here (help, Layla??), but this is the best I could do. Go here to watch it. He's the guy that wins. :)
If you watch it to the very end, you will see me in the last second. Funny how everyone makes it on the video but the wife. If I get a better version of it, I'll post it! Thank you AGAIN for so much support. I am overwhelmed by all the great things you had to say. I never knew you'd be so invested in my mental and emotional well being. :)
Enjoy! I'm off to decorate for a Cheetah Girls party. Auuuugggghhhh!!!!!!!

Wooohoooo, I'm so happy for you!! I hope you have a wonderful, stress-free day.

Cool! I'm glad he won so fast. I know you feel better now.
Okay, I can exhale now that I know you're not completely anxiety-ridden. :-) Tell him congratulations, but that I'm not sure I can watch another one of his videos. They're too scary!
But, if you want to post it on your site, just copy the code on your YouTube page. Go into your Layout Page on your blog and select ADD A GADGET. There is one called ADD A VIDEO. You should be able to figure it out from there, but let me know if you have any questions. :-)
Layla
The way I add youtube vids is to click on the little window to the right of the video (it says embeded) and copy the html code. Go to your edit post, click on the html editing window instead of the regular window that comes up and then you can paste the code into your post (you'd probably just want to put it at the bottom of the other text since this is a short post) and voila! The video should show up for you. Please feel free to stop by My Silly Blog if you need any help.
Chris! That. Was. Freakin. Awesome!!! Way to go Doug!!! You must be sooo relieved! Love the music in the video. Makes me think of Leo DiCaprio:):):) Thanks for letting us know everything went ok. Even though I don't "know" you I do think of you:)
27 seconds probably seemed like an eternity to you and the other guy.
Blessings,
Linda
Whewwwww. So glad that it's over and he won. I know you must have been on the edge of your seat the whole night till his fight. Now take a deep breath and enjoy that party.
At the risk of sounding like an insane stalker-type? I think I thought about this fight of your husband's 5 times a day since you mentioned it! That video was hard to watch! YIKES! Was it even a fair fight? lol That other guy looked so little compared to your husband! :o) Congrats to him!!!
Yeah! So glad it went well and that it's over (for now)...
Congrats on the win. And, I'm sure since it was so fast, you were able to endure it without tears.
Glad he did well! Hopefully he doesn't have more "fights" in the near future!

I'm so glad he won quickly! I know all about these fights as my hubby and my brother LOVE to watch them. Now you can breathe.
ok, I'm so not believing they don't do that with a face guard or helmet or something! How could you not be a ball of nerves over that? So glad he won...for the both of you :)

SO glad it's over for you - I've been thinking of you all weekend! He WON! Awesome. Tell him he can stop now, we all know the manly man he is now and it's time to stick to birthday parties and mowing the lawn! You must be SO SO SO glad that is all over! WHEW!
Wow~ I am a little behind because of school, but I don't know how you do it. I get so stressed out watching a stranger do this from home--I can't imagine!! You must be an absolute nervous wreck. I was nervous watching the fight knowing that he won in 27 seconds. That is awesome.
Re: Eddie. Well, I'm glad I'm not alone on my crush/obsession! I really only skimmed the surface! If you knew how many times I've been to his concerts, dreamed,
fantasized, etc. Well, I'd be a little embarrased-now the girl thing, never thought about that!! Hmmmm...
Glad it worked out so well! Now tell him to cut it out! ... Guess that isn't an option... ;)
Holy Moly Sista!
Good for you husband, bad for your heart.
LOL
I'm SO relieved for you! Woo hoo hubby!!!
How stressful...at least it only lasted 27 seconds. Congratulations on the win!
Oh, I am so glad to hear that it's over and now you can breathe! I hope your little girl's party went well, too! :)
So glad to hear all went well! Cool video too!!!
Okay, from reading all your comments...am I the only one who does not watch this? :)
Congratulations on getting through the fight and (hopefully) the birthday party too! :)
-Carrie
That WAS scary and I don't even know you! I know how I would feel if that were my husband though!
Congratulations to him and I am impressed with his good sportsmanship.
Can't wait to see pics from the Cheetah frenzy!
That was intense! Glad everyone's ok! I know you must feel loads better now!
Yaaay! Tell you husband we said - 'Way to kick butt! And now might be the perfect time to give your wife a trip to the spa!' Congratulations and I'm glad everything turned out well. :)
