While baking the cookies above, I was waiting for the pot to boil--literally.
In the meantime, I am monitoring these two bicker-ers as they fight over who's eating more candy for the gingerbread house.
OH! How could I forget to add that my husband is sick? With a runny nose. And sneezing. Poor guy. I couldn't possibly ask him to help me when he's got a runny nose. What kind of wife would that make me? I'll be back as soon as I find a nanny, chauffer, cleaning lady, and personal assistant to hire. What? No takers?

You make me laugh as usual! I'm feelin' the same way. Good Luck with those no bakes.
LOL! Glad to see I'm not the only one who has over committed myself. Oh, and our 95 lb dog has puked at least twice in the last 24 hours...on the carpet! (just for the record, 95 lb dogs puke more than my kids!) Silly dog got into our chocolate dipped marshmallow snowmen overnight! (thankfully the vet said he'll be okay) Love your blog!
FUNNY! Tell your husband that I hope he gets better soon! We all know how it is when we have a sick husband, don't we! :)
Bless your heart!! This time of the year is so BUSY!! You will make it!
It is that time of year, isn't it? I just got done glittering my daughter's classmates names on 18 paper bags I had spraypainted gold for her teacher, and made a bunch of cookies for my other daughter's preschool in preparation for her party I'm volunteering to help with. At least it's all good stuff for happy occasions!
Good luck with all of your stuff.
I saw something that you could make for your kids parties. Today at our church we had our Happy Birthday Jesus parties and I saw one of the teachers stuck a sucker stick into a marshmallow and they dipped it in white chocolate (melted) then rolled it in colorful sprinkles. THe kids went nuts over them. In case the no bakes don't turn out, that is something you could do that would be fairly simple and craved for. :) You should probably make some homemade chicken noodle soup for your sniffly hubby. Good luck to you! Stay strong and stay healthy!
Life is a Lucy show sometimes, except nothing ever is resolved in thirty minutes! Hang in there. Breathe. Take a bubble bath. ~Kelly

I'll take the dog off of your hands! ;) Would that help any, eh?
Hang in there, it will all be over before ya know it!
Awww, I'm sorry! I'm currently working on four signs that need to be done by tomorrow. So I feel your stress. I have three down, one to go! And about 4 loads of laundry, and a sink full of dishes!
Tomorrow will be a sigh of relief, huh?
:)
I would love if each day had 30 hours! Or even better a 4 day work week. I could always use another day on my weekend.
I'm right there with you! Any way to squeeze a few more hours into each day? So many good things to do!
Sounds like you are busy!! That pic of your dog is just too cute! Have fun at your cookie exchange. :)
Good luck with everything!
I just hate how big of babies men are about not feeling one-hundred-percent. My boyfriend has literally declared "I'd rather have cancer than a sore.throat.!!". Sob. Not.
Your dog may be evil, but he is adorable! :)
The best thing I ever did this year was commit to NO baking! It really really stressed me out last year :)
However, I think I'm about to go back on my commitment here this week! Oh well.
I hope your week goes as smoothly as possible!!!
Ha ha. How can they all be like that? Big babies. Love your tree and your house is looking very festive. Mimi
I'm with you too! I made the same cookies yesterday (the peanut butter cups), and reindeer cookies, and Chocolate chex mix. Why? Why? Why?
Your doggie is just the cutest!! But I know they can be a pain in the rear sometimes! That's why we don't have one. Don't need anything else that eats/poops in my house!
Btw, no-bakes are my fav!
LOL!!! AMEN!
Cooke exchanges are so fun! Look at all those goodies..yum! What a sweet doggie!

I adore you!!! Oh and that dog.....HA! He makes us all laugh~ Thanks for being you and making me feel normal. Susie~
Of course not, it's the man flu. Haven't you heard of it?, lol
Welcome to the over committers club...I think we are all in the same boat. Good luck with the cookie exchange and remember, you are not alone!
Honey, sounds like our house when you were a little girl. Like Dejavu (spelling?) Your pictures are histerical. Maximus looks like "Hum, What, Who Me work? I wait to eat things when their all done. Your are the baker of the family how does 3 doz go wrong??? I LOVE.... your no bakes. My favorites. You are toooooooo funny.
Mom
I made those same cookies with the peanut butter cup in them this weekend. My first batch didn't turn out either! Hope your days slow down a little bit and everyone feels better soon!
Poor thing, lol! My dh is like that when he has a cold too.
Oh, I am with you!!! Too funny...sick with a runny nose and sneezing! I bet he thinks he's ready to die any minute. I am sure he is a wonderful husband but he is a man and we all know about a man when he is "sick" :)
OMG, you make me laugh! Aren't men just babies when they're sick?! Ya, you wouldn't want to ask him to help you! Open a can of Campbell's soup...
Now what could that cute little puppy do wrong?
Hugz,
michele
Work? With a runny nose? Are you crazy?!?!?!?!?
Wow and I thought I promised to bake too much this year...you most assuredly have me beat!
You are such a hoot! Love all the Christmas decor you have been doing. I too feel your pain about being over-committed, and hate the first 2 batches of cookes messed up. But on the bright side, those no-bakes sure look yummy!
Don't get me started on the holiday madness!!! By the way ... those treats all look so yummy ~ I'll be rigth over! ;)
You really made me laugh with this post. Sorry, wish I could lend a hand, but there's no way I'm going to finish up all that I wanted to do this year either. On top of the holidays, my baby's birthday is tomorrow which means lots of festivities tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday.
I'm all up for your 30 hours days!
