Spring Bling Part 2

So far, I'm getting much faster on the laptop. This post only took me about 4 hours to do. I'm getting there. And yes, ladies, I'm SO getting a mouse this weekend! Edited to add: Rhoda at Southern Hospitality is hosting a spring party! I was so obsessed with getting these posts done that I completely forget to mention it!!! Forgive me, Rhoda!!!

More spring means more eggs, right? Pottery Barn last year--$2.00 a bag.

Ugh...love them!

Just a little dash of color here. Pier 1 last year--$1.50 for a whole little crate of them. I bought the last two, and I was mad they didn't have more!

I sure hope you're not sick of Pier 1 yet. You guessed it. Got these last year. It was a pricey $4.50, but it was worth it. :) The eggs are little soaps. Cute, eh?

The little nest goes well with my Dollar Store ceramic egg.

To be honest, this bunny's a little cutesy for me, but she was so cute in the store, and she was so beat up, and she was only $6.00. She needed a home. Plus, the kids like her. I shall name her "Bunny". (For you, Amber!)

A couple of you were concerned for my lack of glitter in my spring decor. Never one to disappoint, I am making sure you know that there is, in fact, some glitter. Sparkly candle eggs do the trick!

I think that's about it for spring. I'm hoping to get some larger projects done around here, so the little decor may have to take a backseat for a moment. Thank goodness there's a repreive (repreave? too lazy to check) after Easter!

Yeah, I get to be the first to comment. I love your "Spring Bling" especially that you got everything at such a good price. I can't wait for the after season sale, I will definitely be visiting Pier 1. Happy Spring!!!!

When I was a little girl, my mom decorated for every holiday. Unfortunately, my kids haven't had those memories yet - I'm heading out on a hunt tomorrow for some eggs and a few nests! Maybe even a tattered bunny . . . I want my kids to have that. Thank you for the pep talk!

Ahemmmm, OK, so it's ALLllll pretty and springy, but I was hoping you'd mention my PAR-TAY this time. :)

Ladies, there is a Spring Fluffing Partay going on over at Southern Hospitality! Chris forgot to mention it.:)

After reading this post I have come to the conclusion that I do not have nearly enough cute little eggs in my decor! I WILL find some tomorrow.

Cute!

I have to recommend a great mouse for you. It's a Logitech V550 Cordless Laser Nano Mouse. It's not cheap, but I had been through so many cheap ones that broke.

The best part about the mouse is that the part the plugs in to USB port hardly sticks out at all! Before, all of the other mice receivers stuck out more than an inch and would get bumped and eventually broken.

Good luck with your mouse hunt! LOL!

I will not let my jealousy about your computer keep me from telling you that your eggs are fab. But my jealousy will not allow me to say more....

What the heeeezy, did I seriously just get a shout out in your post!? :) You're freakin awesome.

And I shall call him cutesy.

Also love that you're too lazy to check that word too, lol.

Oh ya, and I LOVE all of your decorations!! I gotta go me some purty little eggs like that.

I LOVE your spring decorations! They are great! Definitely my style. I'm not a bunny person, so the eggs work great!

I feel so classy now that I know you and I have the same Pier 1 dish of egg soaps! Aren't they cute? I'm re-doing a bathroom and that color of blue with brown accents. Thank you for the other ideas from Pier 1 - I'll have to check it out.

Love all those pretty eggs. I see some pier 1 and pottery barn shopping in my future. I have only been in pottery barn once and found it so expensive. I guess they too have sales though. I see you didn't leave the glitter out. Cute! :)

just discovered your blog and love it for so many reasons...i too used the idea of fabric on bulletin boards when teaching (on med leave hoping to return)...i could put it up and it would look nice for a couple of years or more whereas paper and that corrugated cardboard stuff always got so ratty looking so fast...of course i taught younger kids too...also i know you say you aren't a dog person...i wasn't either until we got our german shepherd and now i am in love with her...she is currently lying head in my lap as i type this...anyway i just wanted to comment that the moment i saw the first pic of your dog i was enchanted...he is gorgeous and i adore him!

I just got caught up with your posts (I am so behind on everyones)and I have enjoyed reading your funny dialogue as much as seeing all of the beautiful photos.
