Recently, Kimba and Nester have been doing some weekly highlights of what's been going on in blogland. I LOVE that idea. Not only has it introduced me to some new and wonderful blogs, but I feel like it's given some much deserved exposure to blogs that are tucked into the nooks and crannies of cyberspace. I LOVE spreading the word about other bloggers!
So...here's my first attempt. Karla over at It's the Little Things that Make a House a Home added some board and batten to her family room, and I fell in love. This is new to me, but it looks like she's getting some accolades for it.

I don't even consider myself much of a coastal decorator, but I'm so in love with this room, I could make out with it! Is that weird?
One of my favorite bloggers at My Sweet Savannah painted an entire kitchen wall with chalkboard paint! I KNOW, right?? Go check it out!
Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a lover of all things creative organizing. Melissa was speaking to me with these clipboards. I'm off this weekend to get the 12x12 ones. LOVE them.
Finally, look what Carrie did with some moss and foam. The simplicity of it is pure perfection!
Go check these ladies out! Talk about some inspiration!

I love when people link to blogs that are great, that is how I find most of the blogs I read, I think I found you that way. Thanks
Good reviews. Very nice! :)
My husband and I were just talking about you last night- is that creepy? Nah..
Anyway we were talking about him cage fighting and I vaguely remember your husband did some sort of fighting? Obviously I had to show him on your blog.
I think he might be in love with you now too, or well.. In love with your husband at least. ;)
Thanks for the links. It's all beautiful.
Oh my gosh, that 1st set is to die for!! I also could make out with that room, lol. It took me a while to figure out what the heck she did differently that took it from okay to WOWZERS {aside from the mungo pot rack}. I figured it out. It's lovely!!
Awesome! Thanks for posting. :)
Thank you for doing this. I love to know what you think is interesting. And as a new blogger, it gives me hope that a cool, popular blogger might someday link to a post of mine. Never hurts to have a little incentive, huh?
I love the clipboards! Question for you and the other genius ladies who check your blog. Ballard Designs has these adorable fabric-covered magnetic boards that I want to do-on-the-cheap. I was thinking of buying clipboards, liquid-nailing thin sheet metal to them, and covering with fabric. Not sure if there's a better way? Ideas?
I love this idea too! I was *just* thinking about posting how I am hooked on blogs (with example blogs) for the party over at Hooked on Houses.
Awesome links! I loved every single blog and have added them to my favorites. Thanks for sharing!
great finds, that makeover room is totally makeout worthy..
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing. I really love the clipboard idea.
These are all wonderful inspiration rooms!
I'll pay them a visit.
Just want you to know YOU are mine. Love your blog!
I was reading your old posts about Maximus and really cracking up.
The little witch foot got me...LOL! Good one.
Have a wonderful weekend.
~Melissa :)
Thanks for the link!! I love your blog... I'm off to explore.

LOL!! You had me laughing out loud with your make-out comment! :) Too funny! Glad you like it!
Thanks so much for the love! Time for me to explore your blog!
~Karla @ It's The Little Things...
Why do I feel all dirty like you've just cheated on me?
Looks wonderful! Great before and after. Isn't it the best when you LOVE a room. I'm happy for you.
My girl has a chalkboard wall. It definitely makes a statement. I think this summer I'm going to paint a big wall in the garage with it too. Have a great weekend.
These are all completely new blogs to me...how fun. Off to check them out. :)
I really like this idea! Thanks for the intros to these blogs. I look forward to more!
Hey girl, thanks for linking to me! I was scrolling down, minding my own business, when I saw my wreath on your blog. How fun! I love seeing links to other blogs, too...it's the best way to find new ones! :) Have a great weekend!
Carrie
I agree with you. I love to find out about other bloggers and see what they are up to. Thanks so much for the features on these gals. I can't wait to go check them out!
AAAKKKK!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL of those! I think the organizing thing is a teacher thing...the chalk board paint too! I LOVE that stuff.
A little plug here but Close To My Heart, a scrapbooking and stamping company I am a consultant for has the 12X12 clipboards in the product line. They are Lg. enought to hold a 12 X 12 page AND the clip and be taken off so that it can be easily painted (with chalkboard paint) or decorated with paper without the clipy thingy getting in the way. check them out...I have a link to the site in the sidebar of my blog.
Loved the kitchen plates from a few days ago...
How very kind of you to share the Blog Love. I've always admired that about K and N.
And your inspiration photos for a new Craft Room are to die for. It will be fun to see that come together.
Have a great weekend!
Great links ... thanks!
~Heather

~TidyMom
THAT was fun for a Saturday morning...er...midmorning.
I love the chalkboard. Am heading over there now to check that out :)
I've only been blogging for about 3 months, and feel like I'm one of the one's tucked away. I plug away, and leave comments, so people can come and check out my creative ideas. I love to do the "trash to treasure" thing, repurposing items, and also doing tutorials for easy peasy crafts to decorate a home on a budget. Come and check me out!
I enjoy your blog & would love for you to stop by & visit sometime. Thanks for all the great ideas & I love the window boxes pictured above as well! :)
