Feature Friday!

Oops.  I’m a little late, aren’t I?  Well, in my defense, I usually type this post up on Thursday night.  However, my husband and I took off at the last second to go see this.

Then we got lucky and got to see the benches do this.  You don’t get to see the benches clear too often, so we were pretty giddy.

IMG_7480 If there’s any doubt that my husband is a die-hard Tigers fan, click here, or here.

Okay.  Onto bigger and better things!  The features.  I spent way too long browsing through Jana’s blog From my Feathered Nest, but I’m going to show you one room.  That’s it.  Hold on.

frommy This

frommy2 is her

frommy3 craft room!!!!

frommy1

That’s all I’m giving you.  You’ll have to go see the rest for yourself.  Pour a cup of coffee.  You’ll be there for awhile!

When I visit Katie at Clean and Classic, I feel like I’m reading about myself.  She likes to decorate by making things herself—cause she knows she can do it for less.

clean

clean3

She loves to organize.  Yes, those are books organized by season.  Yes, season.

clean4

clean6

And she loves to make basic things pretty--with other basic things.  Isn’t she brilliant?!  I just love her blog, and I hope you go visit.  I promise you’ll walk away with an idea to steal!

My friend Kris (aka Gayle—you may have noticed I slide her name into a post here and there) told me about her friend Natalie’s new site/business, and I had to spread the news.  Whatever Gayle wants…Gayle gets.

Ok.  Back to Natalie and Natty Sue Designs.  Take a look!

natty

I’m sure my explanation won’t do this justice, but she makes these cards, sends them to you in a high resolution, and you can print them off yourself.

natty1

It’s completely customizable!  She makes invitations, announcements, cards, and more!

natty2

I’m sure having an adorable family helps this card turn out so cute, but take a look.  I LOVE it!

natty3

I’ve chosen just a sampling, and I can’t get over how reasonably priced she is!  Can you guess where I’ll be getting my Christmas cards this year?!  Go look!  You’ll be just as impressed as I am!

No way! That is not a craft room! I have got to go check that out. So jealous because my home office {which was in a closet!} has been displaced since our house is on the market. I so want a room just for my home office. I'm going to check out all those you featured. Just looking for more people to be jealous of.

Yay! This totally justifies staying on the computer just a little longer! LOL! Thanks for the great blog links - I'm gonna check them out!

I dream of a craft room, only in my dream I've taken an old barn and revamped it. That way in each stall of the barn I can do a different craft or project! I know right! Someday......:)

Go ahead. Sentence me to that craft room. I don't even do crafts but I would in that room. In fact, I would do just about anything to spend time in that room. It's that divine. I confess to dreaming of a crystal chandelier in a laundry room, and no that's not normal, but this craft room is over the top. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I love everything about it.

One question though...if your craft room looks like that, just what is it that you need to "make over"?

THAT'S A FREAKING CRAFT ROOM?!?! That's nicer than any room in my house!! I thought it was her kitchen, at first.

Her craft room is a-ma-zing! It's so clean and organized and pretty! Now if I had a craft room like that I'd spend my whole day working there :) It's probably gonna take me more than a cup of coffee looking at her other rooms if they're this pretty too! Thanks, I'm definitely heading there. Oh wait, gotta make some coffee first!

Well I was planning on hitting the hay when I just knew I needed to hit a couple of my favorite sites and I almost fell off the couch (yes I can do that) seeing that you showcased my site! So nice of you but even more of a compliment that you even classified us in the same likes! I have to tell you a crazy story of watching, "Love Happens" this weekend with my sister in law and in the movie Jennifer Aniston's character has that bag you have to hold your fireworks, candy, etc. (I know, I still think of that bag often) and I leaned over to tell my sister in law how much I love it from your blog and suddenly the theater went silent and a 100 people or so in Lawrence, KS heard, "Chris from Just a Girl has one of those!" So, long story that I tried to make short...I gave you a shout out too!
