Halloween Outside

I sat here forever coming up with that title.  Catchy, no?  Here’s the deal.  I just can’t craft/renovate/refurbish/sew/decorate like I thought I might be able to.  However, I want to blog.  I want to stay connected.  Hopefully, you won’t mind what I consider some “filler” posts of inspiration.  Basically…I’m showing off what I’ve been drooling over!

HalloweenPB6

I have to admit I don’t decorate much outside.  Truth be told, I have nothing out there right now.  We live on a large lot, so it’s difficult to spend the time on it.

Of course, if my front porch looked like this, I might be willing to spend the extra time!  The picture below is my FAVorite.

pbporch How cute is this?  Potting shed, anyone?  My mom has an absolutely adorable potting shed.  Here you go, Mom.  Now get to work. ;)

I love PB's porch pictures. I love these ideas. All we have is a pumpkin outside.

Slacker. No, I should admit my decorating for Halloween is totally wimpy. More like piles of stuff here and there. With the house overflowing from the basement work all my storage for holidays is just a mess. Can't find a darn thing. But just wait till NEXT year!

Great ideas - I have decked out the inside of the house, but just realized today, that I haven't touched the outside. After these photos I am feeling inspired...

I always have such bad porch envy when it comes to holidays! There's so much to do.

What great ideas! I don't have much of an outside, so I don't decorate either. But with these ideas, it makes me want an outside space!

I LOOOOVE the orange door!!! Our living room is that orange color and I love it! I would love if I could have an orange door! ...and the decorations to match! :)

Your favorite is MY favorite too.

I don't decorate outside either. My outside is so ugly it always looks like Halloween. LOL

Keep on bloggin', girl, because I can't sew/refurbish/renovate either and that's what's so great about your blog. You tackle things that I actually have a snowball's chance in hell of doing!!! Decorating outside is tough for me as well, seeing as we live on a very windy lot. My stuffed crows would end up in the next development.

I love the potting shed too.

Don't worry about not posting your original work every day. I too have that dilemma. It is impossible to come up with new projects daily and still find time to clean the house, grocery shop, do laundry... We understand.

Great inspiration. I rarely decorate the outside for Halloween.

Ok that's it, I have to move so I can have a front porch to decorate a la Pottery Barn!

Those are some great ideas! I wish I could find the creativity to do something with my front door/porch area! Hmmm, maybe for Christmas!

They all are so good!!!! I don't do anything with the front of my house because inevitably the squirrels, kids, wind, or some other random unknown knocks it down or does something to it!

Oh, I love to see the stuff you drool over 'cause then I get to drool over it too. ;)

LOOOOVEEE the decor, but I wonder about that orange door.... do you think that anyone would be happy with an orange door year around???? and who would have the time to paint and re-paint?!! Wonder what the neighbors would think?!! I guess if the color scheme on the rest of the house was just right it would be okay. Kinda citrus(y) for the summer I guess, but what on earth would you do at Christmas with an orange door? I'm putting too much thought into this. I think that a basic black or white door (or red - that does the trick for most holidays) is best in my opinion. ;)

Don't you just love to drive around during this time of year and see everyone's pumpkins and Mums? I will drive out of my way if anyone tells me of a home in my area that is decorated to the hilt. My MIL use to decorate so much for Halloween and they lived across from a K-5 grade school and the little kids use to cheer on the bus when she was putting out her decorations. It was such a treat for the children to see her home all decorated so cute for Halloween. I now carry on her tradition every year.
