Truth be told, I consider myself quite a liberal personality. That is, until it comes to young girls—not only the message they send to others, but the message we as adults send to them. Enter “What’s Your Virtue?”

Chris, I feel like we are kindred spirits. I'm a teacher too and enjoy reading your posts. I'm sure you bring the same creativity to your classroom as you do to your blog and your home. I always keep a lip gloss stashed in my desk drawer amongst grading pens, junior achievement erasers, post it flags, high lighters and quarters for the diet coke machine!

I hate naked lips, I need to win these.
Your first sentence makes me love you even more. ;) I am a conservative (well, I dress conservative, my home is pretty darn conservative etc. but normally I don't like to put labels on myself or others and just think we are a hodgepodge of our own idea and beliefs) With that said, I am soooooooo... with you in the children thing. When I see little girls in clothing that looks like it was made for a 20 something I cringe!
Now, onto the lip gloss... this is a wonderful idea!!! I think everyone can benefit from being more positive. I think it even changes your own life when you try to find the good in things instead of always focusing on the negative. ... and what pretty colors!!! LOOOOOVEEE IT!

Being a mom of 3 all under the age of 4 there is NO time for makeup, but it is amazing what a little gloss makes you feel! I would love any of the pink shades to dress me up before I start my day-to-day!

Wow! It reminds me of Proverbs 31:26 "She opens her mouth in wisdom, And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." It would be great to be reminded of these virtues daily by wearing them!
