I love blogging. I do. I wish I could do it more. Really. In the last couple of weeks, however, I have had to admit defeat. It's taken a back seat lately, and I'm feeling guilty.
I'm painting two rooms, two tables, six chairs (including reupolstery), a bookcase, and a large frame. Apparently, my blogging has suffered, but my full schedule has not. As a result, you may just have to deal with some "filler posts" until I can get things under control. I hope that's alright.
I thought I'd share my inspiration pictures for my new office/craft space. It's coming along pretty nicely, but I've got miles to go! Isn't that how it always seems?

Take your time you are allowed to have down time we are all human right? I can't wait to see your projects when you are finished.
Chris!! You're killing me! How on earth do you have the energy to do all of your projects AND work full-time?!?! You are my hero:) Loving your inspiration photos...I SO want that burlap bulletin board!!! Can't wait to see your finished room:)
Pictures are good, especially these pretty pictures! I am loving that nailhead trim bulletin board...beautiful and the brown and magenta color scheme!
Chris hang in there and hope you are feeling better you are inspirational and I look forward to any and all that you post! Take care and keep on having fun...if it is not fun, then don't do it!
Chris, Thanks for the eye candy! Can't wait to see the projects you are working on when they are finished!
Obviously the working full-time has to go. I mean it is getting in the way of your home decorating projects and blogging. Seriously, I know exactly what you mean about not enough hours in the day. I like the filler posts and I love up-date posts, even if the room isn't finished - lets us know you are human - you are right?
Understandable! Something has to take a back seat! I can't wait to see it all ~ so I'm sure we will all be patient with your filler posts until we can feast on these projects. The pictures are gorgeous!
Singing to the choir sister! It's nearly a whole month between some of my posts so I can totally relate & forgive you. Looking forward to seeing your hard work!
I would choose everyone of those pics for my little office too...especially love the BH&G one. We don't mind your back seat to blogging because it's ALWAYS worth it!

Take care of yourself first honey! You were just sick as a dog remember? Besides, I love the filler pictures of your inspiration office. RELAX and smell the roses.
Love you,
Mom

Chris,
I don't know how you do it anyway! I am amazed that you can maintain a fab blog and work full time. I am scared to death to go back to teaching because I know my blogging will suffer drastically!
No worries, girl...we are still here. Not going anywhere. :0)
Just do what you can do and don't worry about it.
Blessings,
Traci
I'm impressed that you can blog at all being a teacher and having two children. Good Lick with all your projects!
take your time! Everyone needs a break. LOVIN the inspiration pictures.
You take all the time you need! We will all still be here. Hope you will post some pics of your current projects when you finish! Have a great weekend!
I don't know about you, but I am not in this blogging world to win any prizes. I just blog for fun and the fellowship I get from it. I have learned so much too from other bloggers. Please don't feel pressured with your blog. You want to enjoy it and not see it as a burden. Take your time with your projects and just blog when you can. Love & blessings from NC!
I just love all of these photos - the colors, the fabrics, the wood tones - wow, really everything. I am going to have to keep these in the inspiration file!

I hated losing my job a year again in the massive San Francisco budget cuts ( just heard thousands more in the city have now gotten pink slips ). Isn't it wierd, even with more free time, I seem to have less time than ever!
I totally understand the lack of blogging. It happens to all of us...I think. :) I'm glad you're feeling better. It sounds like a lot of blogging posts will be coming with all those projects you've got going on!
I totally feel this way all of the time too.
I can totally imagine it and can't wait to see the final results. :)
