A Peak and a Sneak Peek

First things first.  The Silhouette GIVEAWAY ends tomorrow!  Don’t. miss. out.

Okay…Well, I’m sick.  The ol’ summer cold has knocked me on my behind.  Luckily, I was able to honor my date with a werewolf and a vampire before it really hit me.  If you haven’t seen it, uhhh GO.  It’s fabulous.

In other news, I am nearly finished with the dining room.  It’s been done for a little bit, really, but not accessorized.  I’m working on that.  Here’s a little before (that looks like a during) for you.

And here’s a little sampling of what she’s transformed into.  If only you could smell that lily.  GoodNESS.

I have come to the conclusion that dining rooms are the most difficult room to decorate.

For all of you with spectacular dining rooms, that is my declaration and I’m sticking to it.  It has nothing to do with my cheap budget and finicky selective eye.

I’m starting to fall in love with it, however, so I won’t speak too negatively about it.  My goal is to give you the final reveal next week.  I think.  I’m pretty sure.

It’s the end of the post, and you’re still thinking about Jacob, aren’t you?  If you’re not, you should be.

Was the board and batten a beast? Dan is cringing when I tell him I want that all around our family room downstairs. Silly boy thought we were slapping up drywall and calling it good! W/E!

"I am hotter than you!" Best movie line ever. I might be a nerd and sneak out to see it again - did you read my post on it? You're invited.

The peek at the board and batten is lovely! I'm looking forward to seeing the whole room. I love your display cabinet, PB I think. It is one of those great pieces that can be used in so many rooms.
I have a summer cold too, but have not read or seen any of the Twilight movies/books. Know lots of friends who are excited about the new movie, though.

Dining rooms are tricky. I'm toying with the idea of going completely crazy and changing my formal-ish dining room into a Mackenzie-Childs whimsical fun dining room...not sure if I dare. But it would make me smile :)

Loved the book and haven't seen the movie yet. I have a cold as well that has kicked my butt. Bronchitis and double ear infections. Yuck! The dining room will be lovely.

I NEED two of those lamps. LOVE it. Dining rooms definitely are the hardest, I agree. Looks good so far, can't wait for the reveal.
