I have clean underwear!

Okay, so maybe it's a dramatic (and quite personal) way of letting you know our dryer is fixed, but I don't remember the last time I was so happy about an appliance. Have I ever been that happy about an appliance? I digress...if anyone has gone without a washer or dryer for THREE weeks, you can feel my pain.

So...no fun post tonight. I'm washing, drying, folding, and SMELLING my freshly cleaned laundry tonight. I'll be back tomorrow with some updates on a couple of things and my thrift store finds from today. I hit the .99 cent motherload!

Sweet - I was beginning to get a bit irritated with you for only posting fabulous things and nothing "normal." Clean undies is as normal as it gets!

I can't post about my yard sale finds - because they have friend and teacher gift written all over them! I don't want anyone knowing where they came from!! Sneaky, huh?

The word veri is 14 letters long. What the...?

I can relate! My dryer was broken a few weeks ago and I was so thrilled when it was working again. You never realize how much we appreciate those modern appliances until they are broken!! :)

Can't wait to see your finds!

Ha! I like posts like this, now I can feel the freedom to blog about my own underwear crisis (pregnant and none of them fit anymore)! Can't wait to hear about the thrift store finds!

I totally understand!!! While we were remodeling I went without many things not just for a few weeks but for several months. Including electricity, plumbing and that means a toilet, sink, washer and dryer...yuck! It was a good thing that my mother lives two blocks away but it was still a pain to load everything up to wash. I didn't do laundry very often as a result. I was estatic when the plumbing was finished (very old house)and I was able to wash my own clothes and use my own toilet!

Have fun with the laundry!

as the mom of 5 girls who change their outfits like 20 times a day....i totally feel you! I was without a washer and a dryer for 3 weeks last year, and I had to do laundry for a solid week to catch up! argh!!! I believe i kissed and caressed my w/d for a few hours before i put it to work!

I do know how you feel. Mine went out and wasn't able to be fixed. So I got new one. Yep, I refer to it as my lexus. It's a front loader and I love it. I was so in love with it at first, I would just stand there and look at it.
I love to have freshly cleaned, warm clothes from the dryer. Just wisht that i didn't have to fold them and put them away!

I know all about that! When I was a kid our dryer broke and we didnt have enough money to get a new one, so we had to hang stuff out on a line or go to a laundry mat...well, right before we moved out of the house, my mom had someone come look at the dryer to see if it could be fixed before we moved...

turns out, it wasnt ever broken. The switch to iton the circut breaker was OFF!! Ahhh...gotta love that! :) hehehe
