How Good are You?

1.  I had no idea a tutorial would be requested on the lamps.  Sorry.  I’m hoping to break into a neighbor’s house tonight and find a plain shade to cover and show you how.  I’m sure they’ll understand once I explain why I did it.  Wish me luck.

2.  I could use some help.  Right now my husband’s saying, “Boy, does she ever.”  No, really.  I need blog help.

3. I fell in love with a blogger’s idea, and I totally lost it somewhere.  It was a family rules plaque type thing, and she had printed all the rules on various strips of scrapbook paper. It was colorful.  I think she had decoupaged it onto some wood or something. If I recall, I was pretty in love with her kitchen, too.  I think it was all white.

4.  Can you guess what #4 is?  Anyone know who this blogger is?  Can you somehow send me to her?  Will me to her?  It was such a great idea, and I’m so disappointed I can’t find it.  Bummer, isn’t it?pb

Pottery Barn

Can you tell what I’ll be doing this Friday night?  It’s that time of year!  No hot date for me.  Just some Halloween bins, some pre-made (of course) Halloween sugar cookies, and a decorating extravaganza!

Thanks, in advance, for any help you can offer on this mystery blogger!

Okay, I recently ran across your blog and the blog that I think you are referring to about the family rules and started following you both. Weird! Anyway, here is the link: http://lindseycheney.blogspot.com/2009/03/guest-blogger-nicole-my-family.html

And, another funny thing: awhile ago I posted the directions on how to cover a lampshade in fabric on my blog. Check it out here: http://sweetiepiepumpkinnoodle.blogspot.com/2009/05/super-easy-diy-fabric-covered-lampshade.html

Hope this is what you were looking for!

Nice classic black design. I remember dracula movies from that set up.

OMG that Family Rules project is really awesome... thanks for sharing its existence and props to Jackie for giving the link.

I am so excited about Halloween already ... aside from the decorating part I still have to prepare a costume for my son.

Love the lamp idea...and I know I've seen that fabric before. I just finished a quilt with that fabric (I love that Hobby Lobby carries such cute stuff!). You should check it out on my blog....it has a picture of the topquilt with the same fabric.

It's LindseyCheney.blogspot.com Her friend Nicole did it.

Gosh I sound like a stalker.

Anyways, I've been working on mine forevs! I can't find the perfect paper to use, I have 3 strips that I adore.. I only need a billion more.

Her friend also had the most beautiful kitchen I've ever seen in my life. I want to copy her entire HOUSE.

Good luck, can't wait to see yours!
