Christmas shopping is upon us, everyone, and I’ve been waiting ever-so-impatiently for this party! I need some ideas!
Well, just to get this party started, I thought I’d show you my brilliant idea for inexpensive gift giving. Frames. Yup. Frames. Everyone needs them, right? However, I decided to bling mine up a bit.
The whole concept behind this party is to save money, so I didn’t allow myself to go out and buy anything. Nothing. And believe me, I’ll explain why that was so difficult in a moment.
I used some plain ol’ picture frames, added some ribbon, and attached a broach to it. It’s like a brand new frame!
My issue with both of these frames is that I would have gone with a MUCH bigger ribbon. However, we’re talking free here. I get the shakes just thinking about the ribbon I really wanted. Grr.
The broaches are my grandmother’s, and I wouldn’t dream of giving them away. However, I’ve seen similar broaches in numerous consignment and antique stores. What an easy, inexpensive gift!
Okay. It’s your turn! Link up to your specific post please. We know you have great blogs, but we want just the post with the idea! Thank you for joining us!

YEAHHHHHHHH! It's HERE! I'm so excited! I have been working on gifts already and had 3 projects on the CHEAP to link up. I have another one using recycled baby food jars and am waiting on a mom collecting them for me. I love getting all crafty and spending VERY little to make personal gifts for family, friend and co-workers. 90% of my gifts this year will be HOME made. Sorry Target and Walmart. LOL
Thanks for hosting this awesome party! Looking forward to some great inspiration.
What a wonderful idea for a party! I've been looking forward to this. Of course, I would have loved to be among the first to join in, but I'm number 50. It's nice to see how many girls were eager to join the party! Thanks so much for hosting--and for the wonderful frame idea!

I love the idea of the broach. Adding an inexpensive thrift store broach as part of the wrapping of the gift would be fabulous too.

I make frames like those all the time, yours look great! I love hunting for vintage jewelry in antique stores and at estate sales & flea markets.
I'm off to add your button to my blog so I can join the party!
These are beautiful!Wow!
Wow this is amazing! I bought a bag of these beautiful clip on earings at a garage sale in the summer and they are specifically mismatches and they are gorgeous so this is the perfect idea! I was going to try to do something ornament like with them but this works too. Thanks so much! I had no idea what I was going to do with them and now i know!
I think that ribbon looks perfect! And I am absolutely an advocate of using what you have.
So I don't have any projects to post. I'm in the middle of some and they aren't all that brilliant to begin with. However, I'm going to have fun visiting all the other blogs and maybe get inspired!
Chris, do you use that etsy vinyl calendar you mentioned a few months ago? I'm thinking of ordering something like that but I'm wondering how useful it is. I need to come up with a better family organizer.
Your frames are darling--the broaches are a great idea...and if someone had a vintage pair of earrings, they'd get a "two-fer"!
Thanks so much for hosting this! I've found a treasure trove of ideas I can't wait to try out!
Beautiful frames, what a great gift idea! Thanks for hosting an awesome party, I can't wait to check out the other entries!

I linked up to your party without leaving a comment. When I came home from work tonight, and signed into bloggy world, I saw that I had comments on my blog! Thanks for hosting, this was fun! I am kind of new to the seasonal decorating idea, so it is really nice having all these creative people to glean ideas from.
Blessings, Karyn
Your blog looks amazing!! Congrats on a great make-over, and for adding the advertising option. You will be so very successful and have that camera before you know it!
