Winners!!

Hi.  My name is Chris, and I’m a blog abandoner.  (“Hi Chris” says the supportive crowd.)  If it helps at all, I took today off work just to mop my floors.  I ended up going to breakfast and Joann’s with my husband.  I know.  I have issues.

The winner of the FREE Misikko straightener is….

Sawdust and Paper Scraps

The winner of the free art piece from Modern Bird Studios is…

Anna at Bananas and Damask Interiors

Thank you to everyone for being so patient with my announcement! Lucky ladies, just send me an e-mail, and I’ll get you connected to the powers that be!  Congratulations!

Does it help if I show you a picture of a charming kitchen?  What about a gorgeous bedroom?  It’s all I’ve got.  Well, that and cramped hands from painting so much.  Soon, my dears.  Soon.

"Hi Chris" from a member of the supportive crowd. We all need to take a break from blogworld every now and than. I think that's awesome you took off to mop your floors. I never had the guts to do stuff like that.

Hi, Chris!

God, grant us the serenity to accept the things she cannot change. . . .

Don't you worry. We'll all be here, waiting patiently, for when you're back.

I did the same thing on Wednesday! Was meant to be folding a gazillion tons of washing but went to lunch with hubby instead! And you know what? I bet your floors were waiting for you just the same as my washing was for me. Where the heck are those fairies people talk about? Geez....I even forced myself to linger over dessert to make sure I gave them TONS of time to get it done. Slack! xxx

I've taken time off to do laundry because I had nothing clean to wear. Call it a mental health day but we all need one every now and then!

I think May is a busier month than December sometimes, especially for teachers!

Love that kitchen and bedroom. I have been doing a lot of painting here too. It's great when it's done but a thorn when it still needs to be tackled.

Breaks are good for the soul. Hope you have the time to enjoy it.

The kitchen photo is AMAZING. Swooning over the light fixtures.

I'm in love with the bedroom. I just might have to get out my painting stuff and find a new bedroom set.
