Yes, I’m going.

I’ve started reading several blogs discussing the “what to pack”s of Blissdom, and it did exactly what I didn’t want it to do. It stressed me out.

In an effort to put your mind at ease, here is a list of what I won’t be bringing to Nashville in a few days. If this doesn’t make you feel better, I don’t know what will. Let’s begin… (click on pictures for links)

I will not be bringing one of these cuties. Well, I have one I made myself last year, but I don’t think it counts. I think you have to have straight seams for it to count as a cute strap.

Gray Floral - Ruffle DSLR Camera Strap Cover

Nope. Won’t have any of these either.  I’m really just hoping not to leave my wedding ring on the bathroom counter at this point. Goals, people. Gotta have ‘em.

FAMILY.......Hand Stamped Sterling Silver Tag Necklace Est. Your Date and Your Names

This one really breaks my heart. I’m in the mood for 10-20 new bags a new tote, and I would totally be getting this one. I’m a “bag” girl. The sloppier looking the better, really.

Oh, no. Did I just hear you gasp?? No business cards. I have 150 cards that say I’m a “Professional Educator”, but I don’t think they’ll work in this situation.  Can I just write my blog address on a napkin or something?

Something I do have? Jeans. And boots. But I wouldn’t put it past me to try and pack some of these babies into the suitcase. Tempting, no?

So there you have it. My Blissdom list.

If you’re going, don’t panic about what to bring and what to pack. Just. go.

If you’re not going, don’t stress about it. You’re gonna see a lot of Blissdom coverage in the next few days. Ride it out, and we’ll all be back to posting about spray paint and hot glue soon enough. :)

I think you would totally rock the pajama jeans ;). Layla wants a pair too :). And I actually don't have any of the items listed either except for a camera strap that my sis made me for Christmas and a few business cards that I made myself. Girl we're gonna have fun!!!

I have to say that this is my favorite Blissdom post so far!!

I read a bunch of posts and freaked out and went shopping and then realized that I just have to be me! :P

And then I felt much better.

What a great post... I never know what to pack and then I get overwhelmed with what I think I should be packing, and it's just a crazy circle. I'm going - can't wait to meet you.

I wish I could come:0( but not going to happen this year. Just to let you guys who are coming to Nashvagas (I live about an hour away) pack warm we are expecting snow Tues. night. Where I live we are only expecting 3" this time, we have had lots of snow this year like so many others. Those of you who live where this is normal are probably laughing! Sorry but TDOT (TN Dept. of Transportation is running out of salt for the roads) So girls have a great time and stay warm and post lots of info for all of us who can't attend.

I had actually planned on going and had the money all set aside for it but changed my mind...decided I wasn't in "the clique" enough to enjoy myself. Spent the money on glorious basement construction items. Don't be jeal.

How have you survived without these items so far? Hopefully they will be in a gift bag for you when you get there :) Have fun and travel safe!

Oh, I'm so glad you'll be there! I've been an admirer of yours for so long; I hope I get the chance to say hello in person.

I think I'll have a good time at Blissdom, and in many ways I have you to thank for it. Why? Because you introduced me to Traci at Beneath My Heart. Remember when you featured her? Of course I clicked right over to her blog when you said to do so. I've always been good at obeying professional educators. Anyway, I met her because of you, and she and her sister will be my roommates at Blissdom.

This was a wonderful post, by the way, but I'm afraid I say that pretty much every time I leave you a comment. I guess that's because you always write wonderful posts!

I had no idea it was in Nashville (I'm still pretty new to this blog thing)! I just get so excited when events are in my city! If you've never been to Opryland you're gonna love it! It's beautiful!!!

How exciting to be going to Nashville. I have only been once in all my life but I had a fabulous time. Even the smallest little bar seems to have great live country music!

Haven't packed a thing yet! It feels so daunting- and things still don't fit post baby (oh, yeah, he's almost a year old!)

HA! Pajama jeans… those things crack me up. Honestly whenever I see the commercial it reminds me of Wal-Mart. It’s like instead of sporting the snoopy and friends pajama pants, now, one can sport the Pajama jeans and go shop in style!

All I have to say is...LUCKY. I wish I were going. Maybe next year.

Chris, I was so glad to get to meet you in person at Blissdom. I'm so glad you were there, sitting serenely by the fire, welcoming everyone who came by. You're a kind woman as well as an extremely talented blogger, and I'm proud to say that I know you. You're so much more than Just a Girl!
