Feature Friday—Etsy Style!

Hi. Remember me? I used to frequent this place pretty regularly and then I had to go back to my real job. It’s not nearly as fun as blogging, but it does pay quite a bit better, that’s for sure! My goal is to work my tail off this weekend, so I can get caught up on some things to actually post about! Stay with me!

This week’s feature is titled ETSY day! I’ve had several requests to feature some new (or not so new) Etsy shops, so I thought I’d bunch them together. I know it gets away from my blog concept, but you can’t turn people away who have real talent and would like to share it with others, right?

Carole over at Pinkies Palace has exactly the kind of store I would like to have if I had any talent.

I have what doctors might call an “obsession” with note cards, stationary, and well…pretty paper in general. Carole’s store does NOT help with that.

pinkie1 How great would these be for a teacher to keep on hand in his/her classroom? I know there’s tons of you out there…perhaps you should order some? :)

Freya at Freya Art and Design is such a talented artist! She combines such beautiful colors with touching sayings. Perfect to have around your home, right?

freya

Uh-oh. She sells stationary. I’m in trouble.

Look at this for a nursery! I’m in LOVE with it! Please go take a look! She’s so deserving!

Speaking of nurseries…how adorable is this bow holder that Thuy made? (I dare you to figure out how to pronounce that.) Alert! Thuy e-mailed me to tell me how dumb I am. Well, she didn't really say that (even though I'm sure it crossed her mind!), but the bow holder below is from Little Nannygoat. She liked it (as do I) and posted about it. Since I love Little Nannygoat, I thought I'd just leave it on here. That way, you can go visit too! Sorry everyone!

She sells absolutely adorable headbands, hair clips, and hats in her shop Lollieliciousdesigns. (Done guessing yet? It’s pronounced Twee. Who knew?)

thuy

Is it possible for it to get any cute?? I guess it is if you put it on a precious little girl!

Well…if you’ve ever been to Etsy, you know all the talent that it offers. So, I hope I helped narrow down your search a little bit. These ladies obviously know what they’re doing!

You do the BEST features. I'm sure these etsy sellers are so grateful! But now those of us who share your love for stationery are in trouble!

Hope your school days are going well!

I love the framed bow holder. You've inspired me to make one for my daughters room. I am obsessed with stationary too, tough not to be. Plus its refreshing because people don't send handwritten notes anymore....its all via email. That's why I will never give up cards.

Glad to see another blog post! I've been checking out quite a few of your features and really been working up a storm here. Finally posted our laundry room and by 'our' I mean mine! Garage is next but I'm not posting until I finish my door similar to yours! :) So what I really could use is some ideas for a girl tween bedroom in purple ~ not too girly of course. Got any ideas or features I can check out?

I am completely addicted to Etsy! I have a Thuy who colors my hair so I actually knew the correct pronunciation!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Hi Chris, I was just reading through these cute ideas and found the picture of the bow holder is actually from our blog that my sister Kathryn made.

Anyway, no big deal I just thought you would want to know that that bow holder was not made by Thuy.
Thanks!
