Bad Blogger

Woah. Where does the time go? This will not be a fun post, but it gives you an update. Yesterday was full with shopping. However, I'm on a spending freeze (remember those?), so I didn't get anything too good. I'll show the little trinkets I did get tomorrow. Then, we went to see this:

No, I'm not joking. My son is obsessed with Hellboy, and we promised him we'd go on opening day. I have to admit, I really liked this one and the first one. Hellboy's funny. Who knew? This also prepares you for a future post about what a movie buff I am. While having kids has slowed me down immensely, I try to see every movie imaginable. The week before my son was born, my husband and I went to a movie every single night. Even now we try to do "double headers" and see them back to back if we get a babysitter. Usually the teller looks at us weird, and we explain, "we've got kids". That usually does it.

Today's free time was spent at a close family friend's daughter's baptism. Does that make sense? Well, now it's late. I smell like campfire, and I'm sticky from bug spray. Ick. I'll check back in to show you some closet progress!

My youngest is begging to see this movie. We just saw Walle which I liked immensely. He's such an adorable little robot.

Is it weird that I have never heard of this movie? Is it a boy thing?

I'm going to go see this movie today so I'm glad to hear that it's good. I really liked the first one so I have high hopes for this one.

I'm trying to get better about commenting on the blogs that I check frequently and I pop on over to yours about once a week!

I think you are adorable and I love how wonderfully put together your home is. It is inspiring!

We are the same way with movies. I think when I was pregnant with Graham we actually ran OUT of movies to see at the theater we had gone so often. Have not heard of Hellboy - sort of glad we are not there yet! We are on a Robots and Surf's Up kick right now around here!

I don't even remember what it's like to go to a theatre...

I've got toddlers.

I'm so glad someone else is into action and/or scifi!... and you're NORMAL! :) Woohoo! :) I love all movies too! My husband and I met online and he talked to me because at the time, I had Gladiator and X-Men as my two favorite (current) movies. Not to say I don't enjoy a good drama or chick flick! (I don't get to see many of those these days... if we go to the movies at all, I just can't convince the hubby!)

That is such a great idea , go to the early show than the later show, we always went to the movies every weekend, now seldon well not true we take the kids to almost every kid movie out there , love that family time, the kids now sit a row ahead of us , it is so nice, it feels like we are alone.
