Well, it’s that time of year. 667 freshmen + 50 teachers= 2,385,537 germs. This is how my two best friends and me will be fending off the plague this season.
If you’re an elementary teacher, the appropriate response to your friend/co-worker making these for you is praise and admiration. Perhaps a hug or a sweet thank you.
However, if you’re a high school teacher, you get ridiculed and told you can no longer be friends because they’ve discovered you have a talent that they don’t have. They resent you for a few moments, they let it go, THEN you get your hug or thank you. I love those girls.
Even though we’re in our separate classrooms teaching about the inner workings of pronominal adjectives and Edgar Allen Poe, we’re all connected in some way. By spiders. And witches. And orange ribbon.
Want a “probably too quick to actually qualify for a tutorial” tutorial? Good. Start with this.
I used text on my pictures. Did you notice that? I’ve got more directions here if needed.
And FINALLY! 487 really loved Queen Bee Designs’ jewelry! How could you not? Ready for the winner? Here she is!

Wonderful idea!!!!!!
I love this idea. And do NOT think for a second that elementary school teachers don't have a wicked jealous streak when you can do something they can't. They see green just as much (if not more than) h.s. teachers. I have 7 previous miserable years of trying to "hide" creativity so as to not piss anyone off. Glad you chose not to allow jealousy to hinder your gift giving. (And BTW-If you gave me one of those precious hand sanitizers, you could expect a hug! Love them and I've totally stolen this idea from before.)
Adorable! Now who wouldn't want to be germ free with those pretties?!
What a perfect idea for a teachers gift! I'm so doing this!!
I LOVE this idea! Thank you so much for sharing...I am making some tomorrow!!!
I made these for my daughter's teachers for Valentines Day. Would it be so horrible to do this for every stinkin' holiday? I mean they run out quickly, right? And the teachers loved the idea/gift too.
LOVE this idea so much
I am staring at a brand new bottle of sanitizer now that needs some embellishments for a gift!
Thank you for inspiring me!
Totally love this!
This is so adorable! I think I have everything to do this too.

Love this idea... I am not a teacher but I meet people all day long and shake alot of hands across my desk. This will spice up my desk. Thanks
Seasonal hand sanitizer ~ I love it!
GREAT idea!!!! For any occasion!
This is brilliant, girl. And think of the possibilities. . . other holidays coming up!
Blessings on you! Hope you stay well!
I made the Valentine Sanitizer for the teachers last year and I made some Back To School Sanitizer for the teachers this year.
I really like the Halloween Sanitizer and you can never have too much of it working at school.
Wonderful idea! As a former teacher I completely relate to the commentary:)
Ahhhh!!!!! Sooo cute! Great gifts for anyone! I am such a GooGone fan! Did you know they sell it at the Dollar Tree and it has a spray nozel?! (is that even spelled right?) I love your site and I'm always inspired!
I love love this idea. I used it last year when you posted it at valentine's day. I never would have thought to do it at Halloween until now. Thanks for posting, it really is a great idea.
So cute. You are one creative chick!!!
How fabulous are those bottles?! Maybe the kids will use them more since they're pretty. Just maybe.
Adorable! We made the Valentine version and they were a big hit - and oh so easy and inexpensive with Dollar Store sanitizer and Target Dollar spot stickers and such.
Great idea to give to teachers, church bathrooms, friends, and me! Thank you so much.

How cute is that! What a fabulous idea. My mom has TONZ of hand sanitizer in her room. It'd be cute to just decorate them with buttons and cute school stuff too! Ooh, way to go to inspire me!
I love, love, love, loveeee this!
I'm sooooo copying this idea, you are a genius!
I will say the office staff loved the ones I made for them last year, and we all know the school secretaries are the ones you want to keep happy :) Love it!
